I am a working artist who has been painting wild buffalo gourds for over 20 years in Las Cruces, NM. I love to paint!
I specialize in animals, cats, nature, hummingbirds, Christmas, angels, southwest, cowboy and Native American, Western designs on gourds. They can be used as Christmas ornaments, special gifts for a collector, or for special art pieces for your own collection. Each gourd is hand-painted. I arm myself with a pencil, my favorite paint brushes and a blank gourd canvas and paint all kinds of designs. I work with watercolors, acrylics, and pen and ink. I seal each gourd with a clear finish to seal the paint.
I sell my work to over 30 shops and galleries well as at juried arts and crafts fairs mostly in the Southwest. I was featured in the "New Mexico Magazine" in December 2006.
I wholesale my art so if you or someone you know would like to sell my work at a gift shop, gallery or store, please contact me for more information.
Thank you for considering my art and I hope you enjoy my artwork as much as I enjoy making it.
